While working with Whitepine Design & Build, we had the opportunity to fully renovate a 4 story home in the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood. We pitched various designs for how to redesign the living spaces, modernize the overall flow of the house, and convert the unfinished basement into a livable, cohesive 1 bedroom apartment.

The project was led by Ray Boccia, and myself, with a hired team of 3 not including skilled trades. We took on a large majority of the renovation ourselves, keeping on budget and desired timeline where applicable. Some of the main adaptations included: 3 new large windows cut into the brick exterior, allowing for a lot more natural light to enter the home. Main floor washroom added, new kitchen, resizing of both master bedroom & master washroom, with a full washroom transformation. Refinished floors, new tile, removing of walls where framing allowed, creating modern open concept living space in both apartments, and various other details which can be seen below.
